Overview
Somerset Steel Erection Company, Inc. is a subsidiary of Riggs Industries and was incorporated in Pennsylvania in 1957. We specialize in design, engineering, and complete turnkey construction of foundations and miscellaneous steel, material handling systems, emergency repairs, piping, along with the construction of outside facilities using Chief Industries' pre-engineered buildings. We have worked extensively in the power generation, steel, coal, paper, food, aggregate, and chemical industries.
Engineering:
Civil, Process, Piping, Structural, Foundations, Mechanical, Electrical, and AutoCad 14 and AutoCad 2000 detailing.
Fabrication:
A 40,000 sq. ft. shop fully equipped to fabricate structural steel, plate work, chutes, bins, ductwor, and piping. Our paint facility can shot blast and paint per specifications.
